AAMD Challenge Plan Breakout sessions:

Three vendor-specific breakout workshops will be held on Monday afternoon June, 14th during AAMD's 35th Annual Meeting.

Workshops will include Informative, hands-on discussion examining the 2010 ROR/AAMD Plan Challenge (GYN IMRT).

Each workshop will be treatment planning vendor-specific to Pinnacle Eclipse and/or CMS and will encompass a variety of discussion points. There will be an evaluation of the dataset and tumor volumes. A brief scholarly article review of the GYN IMRT perspectives will also be presented, followed by an in-depth analysis of critical structure inclusion and contouring.

In addition the workshops will include a dialogue on ROR's vendor-specific tips and tricks for GYN IMRT cases as well as an opportunity to work with representatives from each vendor to enhance the participants' knowledge base of GYN IMRT. Finally, workshops may include a discussion on alternative planning techniques, such as rotational therapy if time permits.
