Challenge Process

 Goals for the ROR Challenge Process:

• Identify the best practices in radiation treatment planning
• Establish a baseline for quality in planning and contouring
• Benchmark the performance of the best clinicians in radiation oncology
• Share our findings with the industry
• Promote online collaboration between like-minded clinicians

Over the years, we have been fortunate to collaborate with some of the most innovative clinicians in radiation oncology to identify the best practices in treatment planning. We have presented this data at numerous national meetings, such as AAMD and ASTRO. The research related to contouring variability was published¹ in the Red Journal in December 2010.

2011 International Contour Challenge

London Regional Cancer Program in collaboration with Radiation Oncology Resources invites all Radiation Oncologists to participate in the 2011 International Contouring Challenge.

Please join us in this endeavor to evaluate contouring variability in post-prostatectomy prostate cancer with the use of StructSure^TM software provided by Standard Imaging.  

Physicians are asked to contour a single case of post-prostatectomy prostate cancer using our online web portal for a chance to win an iPad2.  This Challenge is open to all Radiation Oncologists in four international regions: United States, Canada, Europe and Australia.
