Radiation Oncology Resources (ROR) is pleased to announce our latest Challenge Plan! The challenge plan is expanded this year to include Eclipse, CMS and Pinnacle3 treatment planning systems.
Our goal is to bring our community together, share ideas, and learn from one another.
What is in it for you?
The ROR Challenge Plan was created to:
- Allow dosimetrists to test their skills
- Initiate discussion regarding RTOG 0418
- Create discussion among dosimetrists and physicists regarding a real world challenging treatment plan, not a demo patient.
- Allow participants to obtain knowledge regarding alternative techniques that their colleagues around the world are using
- Discover how differences in contouring affect the outcome of a plan
All participants who take the challenge plan and attend one of our educational review sessions will be awarded 1.5 MDCB credits. One Eclipse, one CMS and one Pinnacle3 participant will be awarded a $200 gift card.
The due date for completed plans to be returned is April 15th, 2010.
The winning plans will be unveiled and winners will be announced at the AAMD meeting in Minneapolis, MN June 2010.
(Note: Attendance at AAMD meeting is not required if your plan is selected)
There will be breakout sessions at the AAMD meeting for each vendor.
